Hello, I am Bicky Marquez. I hold a Ph.D. in Applied Physics (optics/photonics) from Bourgogne Franche-Comté University in France (2018). I worked at the FEMTO-ST Institute on artificial intelligence photonic hardware during my studies.

With over 10 years of experience in photonic circuits and computing, I have developed a deep understanding of integrated and discrete circuit design. I specialize in end-to-end circuit development, translating theoretical concepts or algorithms into practical photonics implementations. This includes designing, simulating, and optimizing circuits for functional and efficient real-world outcomes. Such experience led me to co-found a Startup, Milkshake Technology Inc., to develop next-generation photonic hardware for digital computing. I have designed, simulated, and built circuits using off-the-shelf and integrated components for chaos-based communication systems, analog/digital AI and cryptocurrency photonics hardware. I have also worked extensively on hardware design, fundamental research, and applications of artificial neural networks for alternative computing solutions. 

Such work led me to author several peer-reviewed papers, patents, conference presentations, chapters, and a book.
